Hi, I'm Dana! I've been a stylist here in San Diego for over 20 years, and the owner of Piper & Ivy Salon (formerly Salon Texture) for over 15 years. I pride myself in providing excellent customer service and beautiful hair to each and every client that sits in my chair. I'm known for my short styles like bob's, lob's, shattered textured styles, etc. I also love doing long layered cuts, classic cuts, edgy designs and classic men's cutting. I'm thoroughly trained in balayage techniques, ombré, baby lights, and traditional color and highlighting techniques. My wide range of clientele proves that I'm diverse in my style and able to read the client, giving each person the best possible result FOR THEM! Come on in and check us out. Hi there, I’m Alexandra! Here at Piper and Ivy Salon I bring expertise in color, like lived-in highlights/balayage and vibrant reds. With me, you will get a color service that enhances your natural hair and grows out beautifully. I also love layered haircuts and bouncy blowouts.
As a curly girl myself, I’m specially trained in curly hair and enjoy creating flattering shapes and personalized color that bring out the best in your natural texture.
My goal is to create hair that fits seamlessly into your daily routine while still feeling fresh, modern, and beautiful.
When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me painting or drawing, and I bring that artistic touch into every service I provide. I look forward to meeting you!
